Avatars

Adamas uses VRM as the standard file format for avatars. The platform supports VRM and accepts VRM files as the only format for avatar upload and creation.

Users without 3D modeling experience may create VRM avatars with VRoid or obtain them from Booth. Users with advanced experience may create custom models with Blender and the VRM add-on.

The current avatar workflow is simple and remains in an early stage. Additional customization features may be introduced in the future based on user feedback.

At present, Adamas supports the upload of VRM files together with metadata, such as an avatar image, eye position, and face mesh object. Users can view the avatars uploaded to their account and remove any avatar they no longer wish to keep. Users can also select any avatar uploaded to their own account to represent them on the Adamas platform in VR. If no avatar has been uploaded, a guest avatar is used by default.

info

Adamas does not currently provide an avatar sharing feature. Users may upload VRM source files only to their own account and may use only the avatars uploaded to that account. All uploaded avatars remain private to the account holder who uploaded them.

For additional information about avatar creation, refer to the avatar overview.
